All of the pictures below are examples of what we can do when we have to. We recommend that no one let their carpet get like these. But, if they do, we can handle it. All of these carpets were cleaned by us in Beaverton or Portland Oregon.

We deep cleaned this carpet with our natural cleaner and our 360i. The client was nearly certain that the carpet would have to be replaced. She very happy to save thousands by letting Eco Clean clean her three story condo.

A longtime and favorite client of ours bought a small investment property and installed new carpet. This is what it looked like after just 1 year. The tenants abused this carpet by making hundreds of food spots including red wine, fruit drinks, soot, and grease spots. The client saved time and money by not having to replace the carpet. The results are so extraordinary that they looked faked – they were not. The reason we were able to save this carpet was prior to rental she had us apply our carpet protector. I am certain that with out it we never would have gotten it clean.

The client has a couple of active Labrador retrievers that sleep in this area. He had the carpet cleaned by someone else a couple of months before we were there. He did not believe that we could get the carpets really clean, but hoped we could make it a “little better” than the last cleaner. He was amazed and took pictures.

“Can you save my carpet with natural steam cleaning?” and “can you really get it clean with steam cleaning?” are questions we hear frequently. And the answer is, “Yes, we can”. On many occassions we have been able to remove stains and soil that other carpet cleaners have given up on. And we do it with safe and natural cleaners. Admitted, this is a bold claim, but our years of experience have helped us to develop a system that cleans carpet deeply and effectively.

Eco Clean Deep Cleaning Method: Our first step, and most commonly skipped by most carpet cleaners, is dry soil removal. Second is pre spotting of problem areas like: ink, wine, pet stains, pet odors, dye stains, blood, food stains, etc. Third, we apply our proprietary mix of natural cleaners. Fourth, we work the cleaner deep into the carpet fiber. Next, we rinse with water hotter than boiling (steam) with our 360i – a deep cleaning and extracting tool. Then we move and clean underneath furniture. Furniture is returned with tabs or blocks under the feet. Next, we clean edges and corners. To finish, we groom the carpet to expedite drying and to provide a fluffy appearance.

Cleaning Berber not a Problem for Eco Clean

Berber carpet is difficult for many carpet cleaners to successfully clean. The difficulty is partly in the construction and the fiber itself. Since the fiber curves over on itself, it must be cleaned with more water pressure and perhaps some mechanical agitation. However, since the fiber is usually made of polypropylene moisture goes right through the face of the fiber and into the backing. If the equipment being used doesn’t have sufficient suction the fiber will remain wet and will possibly wick soil from the backing. Cleaning Up After Pets – Real Challenge

We all love our pets, but they can be hard on our homes. Every pet owner has had to deal with these problems no matter how well trained the pet. Carpet can really take the brunt of it.

A few “Pet spots” that the owner tried to clean with Resolve, Natures Miracle, and a few other cleaners with no success. We treated the spot with our safe stain remover and rinsed with water hotter than boiling. Spots were clean and dry when left. No odor.

Six Things You Should Know Before You Choose a Carpet Cleaner

Green carpet cleaning is definately up in Beaverton and Portland. Many consumers prefer the option of safe carpet cleaning. Consequently, cleaning companies are responding to this call for “green” cleaning. Unfortunately what “green” means is not always clear, and claims of being green are often exaggerated or misunderstood. Though there are reputable companies embracing green cleaning, there seem to be just as many who are looking to cash in on the unwary by advertising “green,” but offering no such service.

Green Cleaning is not regulated: Anyone, can claim anything. Statements of “child safe” or ”all natural” are not necessarily true. On several occassions we have encountered carpet cleaners who have those words all over there truck, but none of those cleaners inside the truck – just the same chemicals as before.

Green does not mean natural: Many ”green” cleaning products are biodegradable reformulations of older chemical solutions. These are a better choice for the environment, but may not be a good choice for you.

Do your homework: It’s a good idea to interview the company you plan to hire. If they are reluctant to answer your questions or dismiss you with a, “don’t worry it’s safe” – move on to the next company.

Ask for BioKleen or Planet Guard: And make sure they use them. Just because they advertise it doesn’t mean they actually use it.

It may cost a little more: It’s not unfair to charge a little more for this type of service as products are more expensive and it can be more work.

Dry Cleaning Carpet is not appropriate in homes: Dry Cleaning is only suitable (as part of a maintenance plan) for commercial building or when hot water extraction (steam cleaning) isn’t available. Only steam cleaning rinses the carpet of allergens and debris – especially important for allergy sufferers and those with animals.

Use common sense when selecting a cleaning service. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Most of the lower priced cleaners (Stanley Steemer, and the like) make their money not on cleaning, but on selling you fragrances and Teflon. They live and die by this.
